Ordering
Information
We
recommend that all instructions be written. This will help avoid
misinterpretation of your instructions by our personnel and speed
up completion of your job. Please be precise on all orders and include
all specifications which are pertinent to the job. All prices quoted
by phone are subject to review and/or revision upon receipt of order.
Odd-sized prints will be billed at the next standard print size.
Specify cropping by drawing on the sleeve or tissue, never directly
on the film. Do not use a ball point pen. Be sure indicated crop
is in proportion to the size print you are ordering. Trace part
of the subject on the sleeve in case film slides out of position.
When specific instructions are not given we will use our best judgement.
When re-ordering prints, enclose a guide print to obtain the closest
possible match.
Copyright
Warranty Agreement
By presenting materials for reproduction to Photomation, customer
hereby warrants that they are the owner of the copyright covering
the film, print, slides, original artwork or other materials being
submitted for processing, printing, copying or other imaging work.
The customer warrants that in the event they are not the owner of
the copyright, they have the legal right or authority to reproduce
said materials and grants a nonexclusive license to Photomation
to reproduce the originals for a specific job.
Additionally, customer agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Photomation
for any liability or claim that might be incurred as a result of
the originals sent. This includes any claims brought by any other
person, claiming interest in the originals or the subject matter.
Service
Times
For your convenience, we have listed normal service times with
all services. These however, can vary according to current production
schedules and do not include time required for pick-up, delivery
or shipping. Therefore, listed service times should only be used
as a guide for planning your production schedules.
Rush
Service
We
offer a production time of 24 hours or less on many of our services.
Please be advised that a premium charge will be assessed when demand
for rush service requires reworking of carefully planned production
schedules and necessitates overtime.
Sales
and Service Support
Our field account executives are made up of professionals knowledgeable
in all aspects of the services we provide. Each one is teamed with
an internal client support representative responsible for monitoring
of work that is in production. Account executives are usually available
by page when not in our plant. For immediate response, however,
ask for the client support team member assigned to your account.

Photomation
is widely known for our commitment to Customer Service. We have a
full staff of Sales and Service professionals available Monday through
Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM to help you with any project or question
you might have. We welcome your inquiries, and promise a prompt response.
We also
offer a variety of Pick-Up and Delivery options.
Our own drivers cover most of L.A. and Orange Counties, as well
as portions of the Inland Empire. We also offer services through
Fed-Ex, UPS,
and several other carriers, to handle distant or emergency services.

Driving Directions:From
the 91 or 5 freeways, take the Magnolia Avenue offramp south 1/4
mile to LaPalma Avenue. Go left (Eastbound) on LaPalma,and we will
be almost immediately on your left side.
Pick
Up and Delivery
Photomation offers a pick up and delivery route service during
normal business hours in most of the metropolitan area. Arrangements
can be made by contacting Dispatch at (714) 236-2133. Immediate
courier service is also available at the prevailing rates.
Terms
Finished orders will automatically be billed C.O.D. unless an
open account has been approved. To establish open account status
you will need to submit a credit application and include three credit
references. Please allow two weeks for the application to be processed.
Open accounts will receive a statement, mailed on the first of the
month, for the previous months billing. All open account invoices
are net 30 days. An account is past due if not paid within 30 days
of the invoice. All past due accounts are subject to service charge
of 1.5% per month (equal to 18% per year). All unpaid accounts delinquent
60 days become C.O.D. and are subject to collection procedures.
If suit is brought to collect all or any part of an account, the
prevailing party shall be entitled to recover, in addition to other
amounts recovered, that partys costs and reasonable attorneys
fees. There is a $20.00 service charge for each check returned due
to insufficient funds and the account may be placed on a permanent
cash only basis.
Liability
Agreement
By submitting any film, print, slide, negative or other photographic
materials to Photomation Photo Lab for processing, printing or other
handling, the customer agrees that, in the event of any loss or
damage to the materials submitted, whether or not caused by the
negligence or fault of Photomation Photo Lab or its agents, the
customer will be entitled only to replacement of the lost or damaged
materials by an equivalent amount of unexposed film and processing
as the customers exclusive remedy and as the limit of Photomation
Photo Labs liability. Recovery for any incidental or consequential
damages, whether due to loss or damage of materials, or late delivery
by Photomation Photo Lab or its agents, or other cause, is expressly
excluded. NO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS ARE GIVEN
IN CONNECTION WITH ANY TRANSACTION.
By submitting the photos for handling at your regular prices, I
declare the value of my photos to be no more than their replacement
as stated above. If my photos have greater value, I understand Photomation
may agree in writing to assume a greater obligation if I pay an
agreed-upon premium price in advance for this service. I also acknowledge
that prices for services not listed will be furnished on request,
all prices are subject to change without notice and Photomation
is not responsible for orders left over 60 days.
