Scoring a Graphics Hat Trick

Our client, Citizen’s Business Bank Arena, needed a logo and graphics for a new in-arena bar they were creating for fans in attendance.  The new area would be called “CrossBar”, a reference to the piping that holds up a hockey net.

Brian Mundy, VP of Digital Imaging and Graphic Services at Photomation, is an avid hockey fan, and season ticket holder, who welcomed the opportunity to help create a new logo for the arena.  Brian developed several options for the client to review and they chose the one you see above.

Next, the arena wanted to use the logo to create signage to brand the area and to attract guests.  Using banner material we created signs measuring 3′x15′ and 3′x30′.  We also created 22″x28″ signs that were placed around arena entrances to promote awareness of the new bar.

Lastly, using B/W images of hockey actions, Brian incorporated the new logo into graphics that were installed within the CrossBar itself using existing plexiglass stand-off displays. The images were used as décor and to help brand the new bar area.

Our client was very pleased with the logo, the signage and the B/W images using the new logo.  We scored a graphics hat trick!
